Scholarships
In the spirit of “Women Helping Women,” Summit BPW awards two types of scholarships annually:
- Summit BPW High School Scholarships
- Summit BPW Career Advancement Scholarships
Scholarship amounts can vary, but do not exceed $1500. Our fundraising is a year-round activity. If you'd like to make a tax deductible donation to our scholarship fund, please send a check made out to Summit BPW Scholarship Foundation to Summit BPW Box 831 Summit, NJ 07901.
How do I apply?
- High School Scholarship applications should be requested from the Guidance Department at Summit High School or view it here. Please attach a photo, transcript, SAT scores and recommendation with your completed application
- Applications for the Career Advancement Scholarships are available on this web site and may be downloaded and submitted between January 1 and the due date in March. Download application here.
I submit my application, what should I expect?
- Selected applicants are invited to interviews with members of the organization’s Scholarship team
- Interviews are usually held in early May, in a Summit, New Jersey location
- Decisions on scholarships are made by May 31
- Scholarships are awarded at the Summit BPW June membership meeting.
Scholarships are paid directly to the learning institution for the following academic year.
